There are many problems with this book, and it’sa shame because the book has many 4- and 5-star reviews that will most likely overshadow this one. وهناك العديد من المشاكل مع هذا الكتاب ، وit'sa العار لأن الكتاب العديد من 4 -- 5 - نجمة والاستعراضات والتي من المرجح ان تطغى هذه واحدة. 3. There are not enough easy tests to cement the pattern of the tactic in the reader’s mind. ولا يوجد عدد كاف من السهل لاختبارات الاسمنت النمط من التكتيك في ذهن القارئ. In fact, there is often only 1 test of each pattern for the tactic being demonstrated. وفي الواقع ، كثيرا ما تكون هناك سوى 1 في كل نمط من التجارب لتتجلى من التكتيك. 4. Sometimes tests at the beginning also use tactics taught in later chapters. في بعض الاحيان فى بداية التجارب ايضا ان تستخدم الاساليب التي تدرس في فصول لاحقة. For example, there’sa clearance sacrifice required to solve a problem in one of the first tests… but clearance sacrifice taught several chapters later. فعلى سبيل المثال ، ان هناك حاجة لتطهير التضحيه لحل مشكلة ما في واحدة من اولى التجارب… ولكن ازالة التضحيه تدرس عدة فصول في وقت لاحق.

5. Sometimes the answers to the tests are wrong. في بعض الاحيان اجابات على هذه التجارب على خطأ. On test 23, you are put in check by the opponent’s queen and you have to decide how to get out of check. الاختبار 23 ، انت في وضع التحقق من جانب الخصم للملكة وعليك ان تقرر كيف يمكن الخروج من الشيك. Unless you have a chess set with you, you are sitting at a computer, or you can see all the moves in your head… these examples won’t be of much benefit to you. ما لم يكن لديك مجموعة شطرنج معك ، وانت تجلس في الحاسوب ، او يمكنك ان ترى جميع التحركات في رأسك… وهذه الامثله لن يكون من فائدة كبيرة لكم. They are just hard to follow, and makes it impossible to read on… say… a bus. انها مجرد صعوبة متابعة ، ويجعل من المستحيل ليصبح نصها كما يلي علي ان أقول…… حافله. This is a problem with many chess books, and I don’t know why they couldn’t add another 40 pages to the book to make it easier to read. وهذه مشكلة مع العديد من الكتب في الشطرنج ، وانا لا اعلم لماذا لا يمكن اضافة 40 صفحة الى آخر كتاب لجعله أسهل في القراءة. I would have gladly paid the extra .50 cents. كنت قد دفعت بسرور.50 سنتات اضافية.

11. The book is also plagued with the problem where you have a diagram on one page, and it’s explanation on another… causing the reader to flip back and forth. الكتاب هو ايضا يعاني مشكلة لديك فيها الرسم البياني على صفحة واحدة ، وعلى تفسير آخر… تسبب للقارئ الوجه جيءه وذهابا. Was it really hard to paginate the examples properly, even if it meant having some white space? وكان من الصعب فعلا رقم صفحات الامثله على الوجه الصحيح ، حتى اذا كان ذلك يعني وجود بعض المساحه البيضاء؟

Make no mistake, I did learn things from this book. علينا الا نخطئ ، وانني لم أعرف أشياء من هذا الكتاب. I think because so many examples did use clearance sacrifices or piece sacrifices that I can see them a little better… perhaps because the “I’m going to lose on the exchange” mentality has been changed. واعتقد ان الامثله على ذلك ان كثيرا من التضحيات التي لم تستخدم او ازالة قطعة التضحيات التي استطيع ان ارى افضل قليلا منهم… وربما لأن "أنا ذاهب الى خسارة على تبادل" تم تغيير عقليه. Still, the book is just poor instruction and there has to be better books on tactics out there than this one. ومع ذلك ، فان الكتاب هو مجرد سوء التعليمات ويجب ان يكون هناك افضل الكتب على تكتيكات هناك أكثر من هذا واحد.

Couple this book with Reinfeld’s Winning Chess or Combinational Challenge by Hays(for the more advanced player) and you don’t need any more on the subject! هذا الكتاب للزوجين مع reinfeld فوز الشطرنج او ميل الى الوحدة والتحدي من قبل هيز (لاعب اكثر تقدما) ولست بحاجة الى المزيد عن هذا الموضوع!
