I think this is a very nice set for the price. It’s well constructed and the fact that you can just flip the board over, dump all the pieces in, and fold it in half means even my 9 year old can easily keep it put away when not in use (and not lose pieces). The pieces are smallish, but the description is accurate so you know what you’re getting. I think it’s a very acceptable and well-made first chess set.
