I found the “Adventure” feature of this game simply irresistable and I took a total of about 12 hours to defeat all of the levels. It honestly was an enjoyable adventure. I saved my files and can insert them into the program files for this program, if it is installed on any computer, to allow going to any level, but I am frustrated that I cannot figure out how I managed to beat the Chapter 7 Dragons Land “Memorial to the Eagles” quiz where you have to re construct the position as it would have been 2 moves earlier. But I do remember that it took me a lot of time to crack the riddle. If anyone can tell me just that one answer I will return the favor by emailing them the programs files that I have which work like a cheat key to go to any level. There are no cheat codes available that I know of, I checked.

Customer Review: Nice Chess Set For Everyone
The Chess Central Starter Package is a great set. The green and white (or buff) mat board is in the tournament style. Before I bought it, I thought the board would be a compromise, because I’ve always liked the wooden traditional boards, but I love the mat board. The squares are 2 1/4 inches wide, so the pieces are nicely spaced on the board and fit nicely in the squares. I hate chess sets that have the pieces too big for the squares and board so they are all crammed together. I also like the fact that you can roll up the board because it’s easy to carry around; it’s a big chess set that is easy to take with you. The pieces of this starter package are well weighted and balanced, so you don’t reach over to move a piece and knock over two or three other pieces by accident. I hate that! And I love the size of the pieces too; the King is 4 inches high (and the base is almost 2 inches), the Queen just a little shorter, and all the others are proportionally sized to them. Very nice. The pieces also have a crisp, professional color to them. The Chess Central vinyl zippered bag is just the right size, not so big the pieces get knocked around in the bag while you’re carrying it about, and it’s not too small so you can easily zip it closed. I like the extra Queens also, nice touch. The only drawback in the package in the mousepad; you just can’t roll a mouse on it, so it’s useless (not that I care). All in all, an excellent chess package. Really, I’m not a salesman, it’s just a great set. The $40 is maybe a little high but that’s a minor quibble; I’m willing to pay for quality, I’ve had too many junky chess sets. Part of the fun of chess is the aesthetics of the set. This set is well proportioned, it’s easy to move the pieces around the board, the pieces have a great feel when moving them, and it’s crisply colored. It is aesthetic. Thanks for a great tournament style chess set.

My grandsons, ages 8 and 6 really enjoy using this chess set. It is just like the one they use in the chess club at their school.
